The son of a preacher and a school counselor, Ben Garden found his artistic inspiration sitting in front of the television watching his favorite movies and music videos. Hip Hop and poetry was his first love, where he learned to express himself by putting pen to paper and recording. His poetry book debut is entitled My Words. Your Freedom.

His love for rock and roll came later in life after discovering Kurt Cobain which led him to other music such as Pink Floyd and Deftones. These musical experiences inspired him to create his psychedelic rock band Melodic Monster in Atlanta, Georgia. The debut album Ben Garden Presents: Melodic Monster was released in April 2020 on Bandcamp.

Ben’s love for photography led to him taking photographs of jam sessions, concerts and whatever else he desired. Through photography, his goal is to document moments and to immortalize people and make them look like rockstars. He is working on creating a photography book illustrating the world around him.
